Job Description

A global technology group, supplying solutions, software, consultancy and equipment to monitor, control and automate processes in a wide range of environments. From oil refineries to power stations, from railways to domestic appliances, They help customers to optimise their processes and improve their performance.

Activities include:

  • The Sales Director is responsible for developing, implementing and achieving the annual and quarterly sales plans and associated sales budgets for the Global Sales business in their selected key territories.
  • These responsibilities above include the effective development of a sales organizational structure in the areas listed above and requisite staffing to ensure the right mix of sales talent for the offering range which includes both software and services.
  • This position must also establish the basic framework and alignments with the Operations Management sales force and is responsible for the co-management of the pre-sales and post sales support organization in those areas in conjunction with the Business Line Management organization.
  • The Sales Director will work with other members of the Sales leadership team to develop strategic growth plans to maximize the overall sale of licenses and advanced technology services in specific verticals and geographic regions.
  • Leads regular forecast calls for selected key areas and meetings with regional sales management to ensure quarterly consistency of bookings and successful implementation of strategic growth objectives in specific offerings in accordance with established targets

Minimum experience:

  • Must have at least 10 years Business Development or Sales experience within Oil Field Services and products or the wider Oil and Gas industry. 
  • Ideally, a broad understanding of control and automation process products and services. 
  • Knowledge and experience working with large oil and gas services companies. 
  • Degree educated or equivalent.
