What will you do?

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Christchurch office. This work will unlock the value that a different approach to people, processes and systems brings to building services now and into the future.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

  • Review of engineering designs, specifications calculations and reports
  • Developing and maintaining existing client relationships, and exploring new business opportunities
  • Leading the engagement with other disciplines to deliver work and bring clients ideas to life
  • Assuming responsibility for the delivery of the mechanical components of large and complex projects
  • Managing project planning and resourcing activities

You will also need:

  • A relevant technical qualification
  • Chartered status
  • Prior experience within an engineering consultancy environment
  • The people and communication skills to successfully collaborate with on-shore and remote teams
