We have invested heavily in our digital team and we are now seeking a Digital Engineering Leader, who can work with our Digital Practice Leader and our team of technical experts.  This group will develop cutting edge digital solutions for modelling, visualisation, and collaboration, and they will take these solutions both to our projects and to our clients.

  • You will lead digital initiatives, promoting best practice and driving this into our major projects.
  • You will define the BIM strategy on projects leading by example, performing project set ups, promoting best modelling practice, standard tools and digital delivery workflows.
  • You will also be able to communicate our digital offerings clearly, based on deep knowledge, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You will work with our global team as we drive our model first initiative throughout our business, and you will both implement this policy and identify opportunities to improve it.
  • You will inspire our project managers, design managers and discipline leads to strive for innovation while maintaining outstanding digital delivery.

Here’s what you’ll need

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A deep understanding of engineering technologies including Common Data Environments
  • An understanding of ISO19650 and a passion for best practice information management
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and standards relating to designs for transport infrastructure and general civil engineering projects
  • In-depth knowledge of local NZ design standards and how to implement these standards on projects
  • Experience in delivering large multidisciplinary engineering projects through differing procurements methods and design stages
